Hi, I’m Ryan, nice to meet you!
In 2020, at the beginning of the global pandemic, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the age of 28, after losing sight in my left eye. As a kid, I loved riding bikes and being outdoors. I was afraid MS was going to take away the ability to ride a bike and be outdoors in extreme temperatures.
In 2023, I joined Team Left Hand and found my passion again! Team Left Hand has helped not only me, but my friends living with MS.
–Your donations help research a cure and provides hope to those that suffer from MS–
Donations made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society have personally helped me by:
-Providing a cooling vest to help with the heat and recovery after long rides
-Help fund treatment I receive to keep me out of the hospital:
- More than 10 infusions from Ocrevus
- Several MRIs
- Research to find better infusions
Ocrevus is critical in my future quality of life. Having the NMSS as part of my life has been life changing to my family. The support I have from Team Left hand has had a huge impact on me during training rides, Bike MS weekend and all those who fundraise for the NMSS. I am very grateful for the support from both the NMSS, and Team Left Hand as I maneuver life with MS.
