Our first ride of the year is almost here (crazy!) and we want to make sure you’re ready! Here’s all the info you’ll need to make the most of the event weekend: 

Team Fundraising Update: 

• We’ve raised $23,689 and are currently the number 3 fundraising team by less than $100!! Great work, let’s keep it up!! We’re getting soooo close our goal of $30,000!
  • PLEASE KEEP FUNDRAISING BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT!!!
• FAQ:
  • What if I don’t meet the $350 minimum before the ride?
    • If you have not turned in the minimum donation by the start of the event, the National MS Society will discuss payment options with you, including charging the balance on a credit card. No need to stop there, though – you have until May 6, 2017 to be eligible for prizes and to turn in any donations.
  • My fundraising total in my Participant Center doesn’t match what I know I turned in.
    • It may take up to four weeks to process donations during peak event times. 

MS Packet Pick Ups: 

Your Bike MS packet contains many important items including your bib number, event details and sponsor giveaways. You must have your minimum fundraising commitment of $350 turned in and a completed waiver on file in order to pick up your packet.

Please note: Packets will be available for pickup the morning of the ride, but keep in mind that there’s a lot going on, so please plan ahead and pick it up early if possible.

• Friday, March 24 – Packet Pick-Up & Bike Drop-Off
  Join us at the Rose Bowl on Friday before the ride to drop off your bike in our secure overnight bike parking, pick up your packet, and decorate your team tent.

Team Left Hand Jersey Pick Ups: 

• Thursday, March 23 – Phantom Carriage Brewery (Carson) – 6-8pm
  • 18525 South Main St. Carson, CA 90248
    Join us at our amazing sponsor, Phantom Carriage Brewery, to pick up your awesome TLH jersey along with goodies from our sponsors like Justins and Nuun. Also a great opportunity to have a pint with your teammates and get excited about the weekend!
• Friday, March 24 – Dog Haus (Pasadena) – 6-8pm
  • 93 E Green St
    Pasadena, CA 91105
    Swing by to pick up your TLH jersey + swag from our sponsors, stick around for a beer, a dog and some bonding with the team before hitting the course on Saturday. 
• Saturday, March 25 – Rose Bowl / Starting Line (Pasadena) – 6:45am
  • Can’t make it Thursday or Friday? No problem! Sara will be set up near the starting line with the remaining jerseys. Just look for the sea of TLH jerseys

Ride Day Schedule: 

• 6:30 a.m. – Site Opens
• 8 a.m. – Opening Ceremonies
• 7:50 a.m. – TEAM PHOTO!  Time to pose and smile pretty for our official team photo
  • Please gather down on the field! Just head down the ramp and you’ll find us! It’ll make sense when you get there, promise!
• 8:15 a.m. – “I Ride with MS” Victory Loop
• 8:30 to 9 a.m. – Riders Depart
• 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Lunch Open
• 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. – Expo, Shower Truck, Dinner, and LEFT HAND BEER GARDEN OPEN!
• 4:30 p.m. – Jersey Fashion Show
• 5:30 p.m. – Route Closes
• 7 p.m. – Festival Area Closes

What to Wear/Bring: 

• Helmet – REQUIRED!
• Jersey
• Shorts (with padding!)
• Gloves
• Shoes and socks 
• Jacket (looks like it will be cool & possibly rainy)
• Sunglasses
• Sunscreen
• Change of clothes
• Shower stuff (yes – there will be a shower truck on site!)
• Cash (to tip our amazing masseuses!)
• A great attitude!

• Get familiar with the Event Site Map so you know where to find the team (and more importantly the Left Hand beer).
• Our Team Tent is letter L, as close to the beer tent (Number 5) as possible.
