TEAM FUNDRAISING UPDATE :
So far we’ve raised an amazing $93,443 this year and are currently the number 2 fundraising team.Great work, but we’ve still got some work to do to hit our $125,000 goal for 2018. Let’s keep it up and watch those donations roll in!! PLEASE send another email or post again right before the ride weekend… you’ll be AMAZED by the response you get!
FAQ: What if I don’t meet the $250 minimum before the ride?
If you have not turned in the minimum donation by the start of the event, the National MS Society will discuss payment options with you, including charging the balance on a credit card.
Fundraising deadline: December 13th, 2018, so keep it up even after the ride!

If you cannot make it to any of our prior jersey pick ups just look for SAG Mom Linda near the starting line (in the sea of Team Left Hand jerseys) to claim your Team Left Hand Jersey. You will also have to check in with the NMSS to claim your rider packet if you have not done so before Saturday morning. Note – it will be BUSY! Try to pick up your supplies in advance and if you are unable, plan to arrive with ample time on Saturday morning.
Saturday 10/13 at the Marineland Starting Line – 9600 N Ocean Shore Blvd | Palm Coast, FL 32137

Note, your rider packet will only be at Marineland if you registered to start at that location and did not pick it up in advance of ride day.

MASSAGE SIGN UP :
Kristen Hughes is once again volunteering to be our PERSONAL TEAM MASSAGE THERAPIST and we can’t thank her enough! Really y’all, she’s amazing!
Sign up for your time slot with our dedicated volunteer when you arrive in the team tent
Walk ups will be accepted until around 1:30pm, after which only pre-paid riders can sign up for available time slots.
Limited to one 20-miunte sign up per rider per day – we want to make sure every who is interested has a chance to sign up.
Funds raised for massages go directly to the MS Society, so riders are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to tip handsomely!

SATURDAY MORNING :
TPC Sawgrass – 5430 Palm Valley Rd | Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082
Allow plenty of time to arrive, get parked and get ready to ride!
Parking lot opens at 5:00am
Enter the first parking lot entrance on the right off Palm Valley Road
Cyclist check in opens at 6:00am
Take advantage of the on site hydration station, get a last minute bike adjustment from a bike shop, drop off your overnight luggage and enjoy breakfast, served from 6:00am-7:30am.
SAG Mom Linda will be on site to collect last minute items like flip-flops and sunglass cases, then will transport them to the finish line in Daytona
7:00am TEAM PHOTO – Meet under the big tent for our “official” Team Photo
Line up with the rest of team right after the photo and plan to take off with the group just after the 7:30am start!
Support at REST STOP #2
Look for Carrie Bailey and her wonderful daughter when approaching Rest stop 2 – they’ll be on site to take photos and to collect any “peel-off” clothing you’d like transported to the finish line (they’ll have ziplock bags ready to label)

After Party!
That’s right, the party continues this year. No more ballroom! We’ll enjoy dinner, awards and live music outside in Team Tent Village until 8:30pm.
SUNDAY MORNING :
Breakfast is served from 5:30am-7:30am in Team Tent Village.
Line up and opening ceremonies are from 7:00am-7:30am, riders begin departing in waves every 5 minutes starting at 7:30am.
SUNDAY FINISH LINE CELEBRATION :
Celebrate your amazing accomplishment at the finish line in TPC Sawgrass! Enjoy Bubba Burgers, more Left Hand beer, and cheering on your fellow teammates and riders as they finish the weekend strong!
FAQ’s :
Can my friends and family eat with me?
Absolutely! NMSS meal wristbands for non-cyclists will be available for purchase at all check-ins before the event and at customer service during the event. Weekend wristbands can be purchased for $20. Note: while we love to share, the taco bar from Gnarly Barley is only for our registered cyclists and volunteers. Friends and family can enjoy food provided by the NMSS with appropriate wristbands.
Can someone else pick up my packet at check in?
Absolutely, as long as you have met your $250 fundraising minimum.
What time to one-day shuttles leave?
Marineland – 2:00pm and 8:30pm from the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort
TPC Sawgrass – 4:30pm and 8:30pm from the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort
Participants must request a shuttle seat upon registration. If you have not reserved a shuttle seat you can add your name to the first come, first serve waiting list at the Bike MS customer service desk at the entrance to team village in Daytona Beach on Saturday. Available seats are $20 and are LIMITED.
What is in my rider packet?
Rider packets include – luggage tag, rider number, bike number and a wristband. All are important for the weekend, so don’t lose them!
How do I get my overnight luggage to the finish line in Daytona?
Upon checking in for the ride you’ll receive a luggage tag – Each cyclist is only allowed to put one small carry-on size bag on the luggage truck. You’ll drop your bag (with your luggage tag on it) Saturday morning at the luggage truck near the starting line. We recommend using a bag that will stand out among the rest (e.g. – not a black duffle bag).
